About the event
Walk the wartime sites of Rose Bay with Tim Proust (Naval Historical Society of Australia).
Visit the Tingira Memorial, the Rose Bay War Memorial and the locations of enemy shells that hit Sydney in June 1942. Tim, a HHA Member, also acknowledges the sinking of the HMAS Kuttabul (pictured) which is commemorated by a memorial at Garden Island.
Plus, learn about the history of the street names, the heritage homes and apartments and the general development of this part of the Point Piper estate.
