About the event

The "castle on the hill" was established as the first national Catholic seminary in 1889 under the direction of Sydney’s third Archbishop, Cardinal Patrick Moran.

Joseph Sheerin and John Hennessey designed the seminary in a blend of neo-Gothic and Romanesque styles, and at four storeys high with a six-level central belltower, it dominates the Manly skyline.

Join experienced local tour guide Terry Gatward on our two-hour tour which also explores Fairy Bower, Manly Beach and some of Manly's most interesting streets.
