About the event

From the stone steps, bridge, and walls in Ivanhoe Park to the quarried cliff faces of Kangaroo Lane to the buildings of Raglan Street, there is much to discover among these local jewels.

Hear about the landmark kangaroo, erected in 1856 and hence Manly’s oldest European artefact, the grand plans for curved terraces around Kangaroo Street, the old tram routes in the area and much more. Please note the Manly Congregational Church is open Saturday only.

Join local tour guide Terry Gatward on this fascinating walk. Please note stairs and hills feature on this walk therefore a reasonable level of fitness is required.
