About the event
In 1917, the state government sold 'Cranbrook' at auction after it had been the home of the State Governors since 1901.
Trace the history of the house, from its first custodian (Robert Tooth, of the brewing family) to today's independent school, with special guest tour guide Dr David Thomas (Cranbrook School Historian).
Admire the work of 'radical architect' John Horbury Hunt, including the pavilion built as a summer house, and trace other Horbury Hunt locations on a relaxed stroll through the area.
Starting and finishing at 'Redleaf' - the offices of the Woollahra Municipal Council - there will be the opportunity to enjoy morning tea beforehand or lunch afterwards.
COST: $45 Members, $55 Non-Members
