Bedervale Homestead - Braidwood
Bedervale Homestead was built between 1836 and 1840 by Captain John Coghill as a country cottage for his family in Braidwood. The house was designed by John Verge, the designer of Camden Park, Menangle and Elizabeth Bay House, Sydney. Bedervale is a heritage National Trust listed homestead situated on a 450-hectare cattle and sheep property, 2km from Braidwood in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia.
Bedervale is a working, grazing property with scenic views of the town of Braidwood, Mount Jillamatong and the coastal range. Bed and Breakfast and tours are available by prior arrangement and are operated by Sonia Horan and her family.
